Exclusive GRAND PRIX SERIES

FAMOUS RACE CARS! AUTHENTIC MINIATURES!

  Rarity & Value

Most common Grand Prix cars in loose, mint condition sell for $40-140, depending on the casting and the color.  Common cars still in blister packs command in the range of $80-200.

For whatever reason, some Grand Prix cars in certain colors are rare.  As might be expected, these cars demand premium prices in the collector market!  Value is determined by the popularity of the casting, the rarity of the color or casting variation, the popularity of the color (e.g. pinks & purples are favorites!), and the condition of the car.  It is difficult to generate an accurate “price guide” for redline Hot Wheels cars.  They tend to quickly become obsolete.  Therefore in the following list of the most rare production Grand Prix cars, I have instead listed prices that reflect what collectors have paid for some examples in the past year or two.  Most of these were out of the blister pack and in very good to near mint condition.
